Rukmani Rear has been a bright student since childhood. However, she failed in class 6. Because of this, she got very upset and was scared about the future. But he did not give up and fulfilled the dream. Rukmani Rear is originally from Gurdaspur in Punjab. He did his 12th from Secret Heart Public School, Dalhousie. After that he did his graduation from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. After this he did his master's from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. Rukmani Rear was also awarded the Gold Medal for Best Performance in Master. After completing her master's from Tata Institute, Rukmani Riar got involved with an NGO. It was here that the thought of civil service came to his mind during the work. After this Rukmani started preparing for the rear, UPSC Civil Services. He relied on self study instead of coaching, and first read NCERT books from class 6 to 12. It was the result of his hard work that he got the All India Second Rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination in the very first attempt in 2011. To prepare for civil services exam, Rukmani used to read news paper every day to prepare for rear, current affairs. Also she used to read every edition of the magazine. Regular mock tests were also given so that the preparation could be better.
